That belief has shaped everything we do. From engineering and infrastructure to governance, operational risk, renewable energy, digital transformation and technology integration, SixD exists to help organisations build resilience through integrated thinking and practical implementation.
Our purpose is simple: To help organisations make better decisions, deliver better projects and build more resilient operations.
SixD was established in January 2019 as SixD Consulting, founded on the belief that organisations needed more than technical expertise—they needed integrated thinking.
The name SixD originated from the concept of extending traditional project delivery beyond construction into the operational life of an asset. Inspired by the principles of Building Information Modelling (BIM), where the sixth dimension focuses on facilities and lifecycle management, SixD was created to bridge the gap between engineering, operations, risk and long-term organisational performance.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the business adapted to meet changing market demands by expanding into renewable energy, electrical infrastructure and technology implementation. These projects strengthened our practical engineering capability while reinforcing an important insight:
Projects create value when they are aligned with the long-term operational objectives of the organisation. As SixD evolved, so did our understanding of organisational performance.
It became increasingly clear that operational excellence could not be achieved through isolated compliance activities, individual projects or disconnected technologies alone. Organisations required a more integrated approach.
This realisation led to the development of the SixD Integrated Risk Intelligence Framework™—a systems-based methodology that connects governance, operational systems, human performance, compliance and digital intelligence into a unified model for organisational resilience.
Today, SixD combines strategic advisory, engineering, technology integration and project delivery to help organisations navigate complexity with confidence.

With experience spanning engineering, electrical infrastructure, renewable energy, occupational health and safety, behavioural safety, management systems, project delivery and digital transformation, Albert recognised a recurring challenge across industries.
Organisations often managed projects, risk, compliance, technology and people as separate functions, even though their success depended on how effectively these elements worked together.
